Good Luck Job Hunting

It took me 2 years to find a job, so I know what how you feel if you are looking for a job.

I landed my first teaching job by looking through the classified ads and applying for every job there was. I went on three different job interviews before I was hired.

I landed my first teaching job because I possess these qualities... I love to learn, I am resourceful, and I am determined. I found that even old dogs can learn to tricks, and I had to show that I was not afraid to try new techniques. I am quite good at research, and found many interesting lessons on-line, and through networking with friends that are teachers. These proved very helpful during the interviews.

Finding a teaching job can be hard, but here is some advice to make it easier. Keep up on trends in education. Go on different websites for teachers, to make yourself aware of current trends and issues in education. Visit friends who teach and ask to observe them so you can keep up with various teaching techniques. Don't give up. If you want a job, you have to be willing to work hard to find one.
